The BJP, after dismissal of 13 leaders on Thursday, expelled 30 more, including former Assembly candidate Moti Sahu, Thumgaon Nagar Panchayat president Omprakash Sahu, Nagar Panchayat vice-president Roshan Sahu, Janpad member Sher Singh Sahu, former Janpad member Goukaran Sahu Macheva and Dharma Sahu from the primary membership of the party on Friday.
Narendra Giri of the BJP’s Gramin Mandal said that these were those 30 people who had worked against the interest of the party. It is said that on the report of party candidate Poonam Chandrakar and approval of poll manager Makhan Dhar Diwan, these 30 rebel people have been expelled from the party.
As per the list, Moti Sahu Kampa, Nihal Devangan Baronda Bazar, Rooplal Patel Gongal, Sunil Patel Pateva Sarpanch, loknath Patel Tenduvahi, Suresh Sahu Jalki, Manohar Sahu Pateva, Shanto Sahu Kachhardih, Firoz Khan Kampa, Chandrashekhar patel Tenudvahi, Dharam Sahu Chhindauli, Premlal Sahu Manpur, Prem Sahu Singhanpur, Ajay Sahu Achhola, Omprakash Sahu Nagar panchayat president Thumgaon, Roshan Sahu Nagar Panchayat vice-president Thumgaon, Chunuram Sahu Gadhsivni, Goukaran Sahu Macheva, Virendra Dhruv Parsadih, Rajau Jalkshatri, Rajendra Nirmalkar and Chunuram Nirmalkar all corporators from Thumgaon, Teerath Sahu Thumgaon, Khoman Sharma Virkoni, Siyaram Yadav Birkoni, Tikam Sahu Janpad member Sher, Jivaram Sahu Beltukari, Praveen Diwan Thumgaon and leelaram Choudhary Dhodari have been expelled from the primary membership of the party.
The party has been watching some people engaged in anti-party activities. Some of the names have come to the fore and action would be taken against them on getting evidence.
