Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation will start Bhopal- Ujjain air service on the occasion of Ram Navmi festival on April 19. With the beginning of the new air taxi, the Bhopal-Ujjain distance will be covered in only 40 minutes.
The air taxi services are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 12.15 pm from Bhopal and will reach Ujjain at around 12.55 pm. From Ujjain the flights are scheduled at 1.10 pm and will reach Bhopal at 1.50 pm. The air services will save the time and the inconvenience of travelling by road.
Ventura Air Connect is going to facilitate a 9 seater Cessna plane. The allotments of seats in this plane would be based on first come first serve basis. The charges are in the range of Rs1500 to Rs3200.
last month, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation was awarded National Award in the category of Most Innovative/ Unique Tourism Project for starting Air Taxi services to promote tourism by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
Notably, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has grown and gained popularity among the tourists of the country and foreign tourist and to boost the tourism in the State.
