A total of 13 hotel and motel properties developed by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB) is yet to generate any income among a total of 33 currently operational in the State.

The hotels and motels had been constructed involving a cost of `50 crore in which the remaining properties had generated income of `3.45 crore during the past six years.The resorts developed at Gangrel, Chitrakot and Mohda had generated income of `1.45 crore each.

The Hotel Jauhar Chhattigarh developed by the board at a cost of an estimated `2.45 crore  have generated income of more than `2.83 crore till December 31, 2012.

Similarly, the Badriha lake View Tourist Cottage developed near Gangrel dam in Dhamtari district had been constructed at a cost of `79 lakh. The cottage, during the past six years had generated income of `76.86 lakh.

Similarly, the Damdami luxury Resort near Chitrakot Water fall in Bastar region between 2008 to 2012 generated income of `76.71 lakh.

The Tourist Cottage at Aasana built at a cost of an estimated `2 crore in Jagdalpur in operation since 2007 had generated income of `21 lakh during the past five years.

A tourist resort  built at a cost of ` 4.70 crore in Sirpur which became operational on January 2013 is yet to generate any income.

Similarly , the income generated by Shaila Tourist Resort at Mainpat built at a cost of `6,61 crore also commenced operations in January 2013 in not yet known.

The Bhojali resort constructed at Mana-Tuta at a cost of `2.57 crore which had been operational since June 2012 had not generated any income during the past six months.

The Basi Titra Tourist resort contructed at a cost of `1.2 crore near Kanker had generated income of  `17.57 lakh during the past four years.

The Godna Eco Resort built at a cost of `1.16 crore at Kavardha had generated income of `10.23 lakh during the past four years.

The Nagmori Tourist Cottage built at a cost of `71.34 lakh at Bhomardev had generated income of `5 lakh during the past five years.

The Sua lake View Resort built at a cost of `29.44 lakh has generated

income of `8.61 lakh during the past three years.

The properties which are yet to generate any income are—Kareel Restaurant,  Putri Tourist Resort, Rajim,   Kamaar lake View, Kukda, Karma Tourist Cottage, Bhatagaon, Sonai Rupai Tourist Cottage. Shringhar Bhata,

Mitan Adventure Eco Resort Khudia, Bharthari Tourist Resort, Sargaon, Tourist Rest House, Kharkhara,

Balod and Chakradhar Tourist Cottage, Konda Tarai.

This apart, the Sonbhadra Tourist Resort at Amadob generated income of `9 lakh within a year’s time.
