Hours after his arrest and subsequent release in an assault and sexual harassment case, Armaan Kohli, a small time Bollywood actor and a participant in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 7, returned to the Bigg Boss’ house at lonavla on Tuesday evening.
Armaan, who was arrested by the lonavla Police late on Monday night on charges of assaulting and sexually harassing a fellow contestant on the show, was released on bail by the police themselves against production of two sureties of Rs 25,000 each.
“All the charges made against Armaan were bailable ones. The lonavla Police released him on bail, after we gave them two sureties of Rs 25,000 each. After his release, Armaan returned to Bigg Boss’ house,” the actor’s advocate Sanjay Wandre told The Pioneer on Tuesday night.
Forty-one-year Armaan was arrested by the lonavla Police from the Bigg Boss’ House, the studio-set where the reality show is being filmed, following a complaint by a British-Pakistani actress Sophia Hayat, a co-contestant who had exited the show last week, lodged with the Santa Cruz police station in Mumbai on December 11.
