Vijay Goel meets PM, presents coffee table book on Vajpayee

Former Union Minister and Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Vijay Goel, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office in Parliament House on Tuesday. On the occasion, Goel presented to the Prime Minister the recently published coffee table book on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s life, titled Atal Bihari Vajpayee: The Eternal Statesman.
Goel said that they held a detailed discussion on various contemporary issues, and he congratulated the Prime Minister for his extraordinary contribution to the service of the nation.
Goel said that Modi is among the select leaders of the country who have rendered uninterrupted public service for nearly 8,930 days while holding various offices, thereby creating a new record for leading the Government for the longest period. This includes his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and as Prime Minister of India.
Goel also said that in the present time of global crisis, the entire nation stands united under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and appreciates his guidance.
He further described the Prime Minister’s role during the Covid-19 pandemic as highly commendable, noting that he handled the country effectively and led it out of the crisis.
He further said that at a time when the world is entangled in various conflicts and wars, the Prime Minister, through his strong diplomacy, has successfully safeguarded India’s interests and strengthened the country’s position.
