TTD to release Rs 300 special darshan tickets for Brahmotsavam on Oct 7
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will release Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan tickets online on October 7 at 10 am for six dates during the annual Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam, the temple body said on Tuesday.
The tickets will be available for October 12, 13, 14, 18, 19 and 20 through the TTD's official website, according to a press release.
The TTD Board has also cancelled VIP Break and Privileged Darshan for 10 days from October 11 to 20 in view of the heavy rush of devotees expected during the Brahmotsavam.
Darshan facilities for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, parents with infants, non-resident Indians and defence personnel will also remain suspended during the period, the TTD said.
The restrictions will not apply to protocol dignitaries, it added.
The TTD has urged devotees planning to visit Tirumala during the festival period to plan their pilgrimage accordingly and make use of the available darshan arrangements.
The annual Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam is expected to draw a large number of devotees to Tirumala.
Separately, the TTD said Devi Navaratri celebrations would be held at Sri Kariyamanikya Swamy and Sri Neelakanteswara Swamy Temple in Thummur village of Naidupeta mandal from October 11 to 20.
