Software employee dies after falling from 30th floor of Hyderabad apartment

Hyderabad: A 29-year-old software employee died after falling from the 30th floor of Golf Edge Apartments in Nanakramguda on Monday.

Police identified the deceased as Uppala Bharat, a native of Suryapet district. He worked for a software company in Bengaluru and had moved into a rented flat in the complex two days before the incident.

Bharat fell onto a Hyundai WagonR car parked inside the premises and suffered grievous injuries. A security guard found him on the ground and alerted residents, who rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Gachibowli police registered a case on a complaint filed by his relative, Uppala Kishore. Police said Bharat had left a suicide note apologising to his parents.

The body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for a postmortem examination. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
