Two brothers killed in motorcycle crash in South Mumbai

Two brothers were killed after the motorcycle they were riding crashed into the boundary wall of a building in South Mumbai's Colaba area in the early hours of Wednesday, September 23, police said.

The accident occurred around 5 am on the northbound lane of Nanabhai Musa Marg. Sumit Satwan Valmiki, 22, and his 15-year-old brother Sanju Satwan Valmiki were riding a TVS motorcycle when the elder sibling allegedly lost control of the vehicle, which rammed into the boundary wall of Gangotri Building. Both sustained severe head injuries and died at the scene, an official said.

The victims, residents of Ganesh Murti Nagar in Cuffe Parade, South Mumbai, hailed from Pipri in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district.

An accidental death case has been registered, and the bodies have been sent to the state-run GT Hospital for post-mortem. A forensic team visited the crash site and collected samples as part of the ongoing investigation.
