Bankipur bypoll affidavit: Prashant Kishor declares Rs 96 crore assets, wife owns Rs 101.93 crore

Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor has declared personal assets worth ₹96.06 crore in the election affidavit submitted with his nomination for the Bankipur Assembly bypoll in Bihar. The affidavit also states that his wife, Dr. Jahanvi Das, owns assets valued at ₹101.93 crore, taking the family's declared wealth to nearly ₹198 crore.
According to the affidavit, Kishor's wealth includes movable assets worth ₹22.19 crore and immovable assets worth ₹73.87 crore. A significant portion of his wealth comes from his 100% stake in Vedhas Ventures Private Limited, valued at around ₹95.26 crore.
He has also declared investments in fixed deposits, financial instruments, and properties located in Patna, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Rohtas district in Bihar. His wife has movable assets worth ₹89.51 crore and immovable assets worth ₹12.42 crore.
The Bankipur bypoll marks Kishor's first direct electoral contest after years as a political strategist. He is contesting from the BJP stronghold against BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha. Polling is scheduled for July 30, while counting of votes will take place on August 3.
