Nine people have been arrested after a family was allegedly chased for nearly 20 kilometres and attacked in Maharashtra's Nashik district for objecting to the alleged harassment of a woman.
The incident took place near Bhavli Dam in Igatpuri, where the family of eight had gone for a picnic. According to the complaint, two men allegedly harassed a woman from the family, leading to an argument when her relatives confronted them.
