Ranveer Singh breaks silence after FWICE issues Non-Cooperation directive over Don 3 exit

Actor Ranveer Singh has finally broken his silence after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a non-cooperation directive against him over his reported exit from the upcoming film Don 3.
The controversy escalated after filmmaker Farhan Akhtar reportedly approached FWICE alleging that Ranveer Singh withdrew from the project shortly before filming was scheduled to begin, causing major disruption to the production.
FWICE stated that it had sent multiple notices to the actor asking him to appear before the body and discuss the matter. However, according to the federation, Ranveer did not respond to three formal notices, leading to the issuance of the non-cooperation directive.
Responding through his spokesperson, Ranveer Singh said he continues to hold “the highest regard” for the film fraternity and everyone associated with the Don franchise.
“Throughout the recent developments surrounding Don 3, he has consciously chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal equations are best handled with dignity, maturity and mutual respect,” the statement said.
The statement further added that despite various narratives and speculations emerging publicly, the actor chose not to contribute to conjecture and remained focused on his professional commitments.
FWICE officials said the issue was not merely a disagreement between an actor and producers but one that also affected thousands of workers associated with film productions. The federation stressed that no individual, irrespective of stardom, is above industry rules and regulations.
Reports also suggest that producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani informed the federation that substantial pre-production expenses had already been incurred for the film before Ranveer’s alleged withdrawal.
The dispute has sparked widespread discussion within the film industry, with fans and industry observers closely following developments related to Don 3 and Ranveer Singh’s future projects.
