Rajesh Kumar Singh gets additional NHPC CVO charge

Rajesh Kumar Singh, IRSS (2002), has assumed additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company and a Navratna enterprise of the Government of India, on 6th October. Singh has been entrusted with the additional charge of the post of CVO, NHPC, for a period of six months from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till the appointment of a regular CVO in NHPC or till further orders, whichever is the earliest. Rajesh Kumar Singh is currently serving as the CVO of Power Finance Corporation. He holds a B Technology degree in Electronics and Communication from IIT Roorkee and an M.Tech in Communication Systems from IIT (BHU), Varanasi.
He has also completed a Senior Leadership Program in Singapore, Malaysia and China. With over 24 years of experience in Indian Railways, Singh has held several key positions, including Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations), NER, Banaras Division and Chief Materials Manager at Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli, where he was responsible for overseeing procurement activities. During his career, Singh has gained diverse experience in Procurement, Vigilance, Information Technology and Material Management, besides managing various cross-functional teams.
Through his multidisciplinary assignments, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational integrity and contributed to fostering a culture of transparency, innovation and excellence in public service.
