New postings for 12 IPS, 112 PPS officers in Punjab reshuffle

The Punjab government on Sunday issued orders for the transfer and posting of 12 IPS and 112 PPS officers.
Senior IPS officer V Neeraja has been posted as special director general of police, NRI, replacing R K Jaiswal.
Jaiswal has been given the charge of additional DGP, cyber crime, in addition to holding the charge of ADGP, jails, according to an order.
IPS officer Nanak Singh has been posted as DIG, Internal Vigilance Cell. He will also hold the additional charge of DIG, Ropar Range.
Pragya Jain has been posted as assistant inspector general, Anti-Narcotics Task Force, Ludhiana Range. She will also hold the charge of AIG, internal security, Punjab.
Akarshi Jain has been given the charge of DCP, headquarters in Amritsar, while Jasroop Kaur Batth has been posted as DCP, law and order, Jalandhar.
IPS officer Jayant Puri has been posted as additional DCP, investigation, Amritsar, while Ashok Meena has been given the posting of SP, investigation, Sri Muktsar Sahib.
Among Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers, Suba Singh, Paramjit Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Alam Vijay Singh, Harkamalpreet Singh, Jugraj Singh and Gursewak Singh have been given new posting orders.
