UPSIDA CEO inspects development works at perfume park in Kannauj

Under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is continuously working towards strengthening and expanding industrial infrastructure across the State. The Authority is making a significant contribution towards achieving the goal of making Uttar Pradesh a 1 trillion economy.
In continuation of these efforts, Dr Balkar Singh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), visited the Industrial Area Perfume Park located in Kannauj district and conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing development works and available infrastructure facilities. During the visit, necessary directions were issued to the concerned officials regarding the overall development of Perfume Park, improved connectivity, and provision of essential facilities to entrepreneurs.
The Chief Executive Officer directed the concerned officials to ensure connectivity of Perfume Park with the Agra-Lucknow Expressway by establishing effective coordination with UPEIDA and taking the necessary action on priority. He instructed that the required proposals be prepared and further action be expedited to develop smooth transportation and better connectivity for the industrial area.
During the visit, directions were also issued to examine, as per applicable rules, the provision of a petrol pump, hotel, and other essential commercial and civic amenities for the convenience of entrepreneurs, investors, and visitors in the industrial area.
The Chief Executive Officer directed the concerned officials to prepare a comprehensive roadmap and take time-bound action for the planned development of these facilities.
The Chief Executive Officer directed the Regional Manager, Kanpur, to examine on priority the issues and pending matters related to the allotment of plots in Perfume Park and ensure their immediate and time-bound resolution so that entrepreneurs and investors do not face any difficulties.
In addition, all concerned officials were directed to establish effective coordination with the district administration and concerned departments/agencies and take expeditious action to ensure the availability of gas supply and other essential basic and infrastructure facilities in the industrial area.
Chief Executive Officer Dr Balkar Singh stated that UPSIDA is continuously working towards promoting industrial investment in the State and providing a conducive environment for industries. Effective operation of basic infrastructure facilities in industrial areas, time-bound resolution of entrepreneurs’ issues, and regular dialogue with the industry are among the Authority’s key priorities.
He directed the concerned officials to ensure the time-bound and effective resolution of issues and suggestions received from industrial units after examining them in accordance with the applicable rules. He further directed that necessary action be taken on priority to maintain high standards of infrastructure facilities in industrial areas.
