Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised the Art of Living Foundation for its contribution to spirituality, service and social transformation, while calling for collective efforts to build a developed India.
Addressing the gathering at the Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru during the organisation’s 45th anniversary celebrations, Modi highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility, youth empowerment and inner well-being in nation-building.

“No government can succeed unless society itself actively participates in nation-building,” Modi said, citing the Swachh Bharat Mission as an example of successful public participation.
The Prime Minister also highlighted India’s achievements in digital payments, startup growth, infrastructure and space technology, saying the country was emerging as a global leader in innovation driven by its youth.

He further urged volunteers of the organisation to actively support natural farming and environmental conservation efforts, warning that excessive use of chemical fertilisers has harmed agricultural land and nature.
