Man allegedly kills wife in front of children in Maharashtra's Washim

A man has been arrested after allegedly killing his wife inside a car in front of their three children in Maharashtra's Washim district. According to police, the accused, identified as Salman Khan, allegedly attacked his wife, Hasin Bano, during a journey on the Samruddhi Expressway after suspecting her fidelity. Investigators said he allegedly struck her with a metal rod before strangling her.

Police said that after the alleged murder, the accused drove around with the woman's body before arriving at the Karanja Police Station, where he surrendered and informed officers about the incident.

Acting on his statement, police recovered the body from the car and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Authorities are still determining the exact location on the expressway where the crime took place.

A case has been registered, and the accused is in police custody. Investigators are examining the sequence of events and gathering evidence, while the three children, who reportedly witnessed the incident, are receiving care from family members. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
