Kovind lauds expansion of Dang Prayag Hanuman Temple initiative

Calling it a powerful reflection of collective devotion and community participation, former President Ram Nath Kovind praised the expansion of the Dang Prayag Hanuman Temple initiative from 311 to 1111 temples across India’s tribal regions.
He noted that the journey signifies not just numerical growth, but a deepening of faith-driven social transformation.
The initiative, led by Govind Dholakia, Founder-Chairman Emeritus of Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), along with the SRK Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF), traces its origins to a humble yet profound moment in Dang.
In collaboration with spiritual leaders and villagers, the Dang Prayag Hanuman Yagya was initiated to nurture spiritual awareness alongside social cohesion among forest communities.
The decision to scale from 311 to 1111 temples reflects growing participation and belief in the model’s impact.
In Sanatan tradition, 1111 symbolizes alignment and divine guidance, underscoring the initiative’s deeper spiritual intent.
Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat highlighted how the effort recognises and institutionalises devotion in its simplest form.
