Ketan Agarwal murder case: Siya Goyal's gesture sparks fresh controversy

The investigation into the murder of Pune-based realtor Ketan Agarwal took a dramatic turn after a video of the prime accused, Siya Goyal, making an obscene gesture by showing the middle finger while under police escort went viral on social media. The incident occurred when Pune Rural Police took Goyal to her residence as part of the ongoing investigation, where officers recovered the clothes she allegedly wore on the day of the murder.
According to police, the recovered clothing is being examined as part of the evidence collection process. Investigators are also analysing digital and forensic evidence to establish the sequence of events leading to Agarwal's death. Earlier, police had alleged that Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary rehearsed the murder before allegedly pushing Agarwal off a cliff at Lohagad Fort.
Authorities have also sought permission to conduct polygraph tests on both accused to verify conflicting statements.
The viral video has drawn widespread attention online, with many questioning Goyal's conduct during the investigation. Meanwhile, police said the probe is progressing and that all available evidence is being examined to build a comprehensive case.
