Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: ‘If Siya Didn't Want to Marry, We'd Have Called It Off,’ brother tells police

The investigation into the alleged murder of Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal has taken another turn, with accused Siya Goyal's brother, Sahil Goyal, telling police that the family would have cancelled the marriage if she had informed them she did not want to marry Ketan.
According to sources, Sahil was questioned by Pune Rural Police for several hours as investigators probed the circumstances leading to Ketan's death at Lohagad Fort. During questioning, he reportedly said the family was never aware that Siya opposed the marriage and insisted they would not have forced her into the alliance had they known her wishes.
Police allege that Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, who were reportedly in a relationship, conspired to kill Ketan because they wanted to be together. Investigators claim the murder was premeditated and are examining digital evidence, including deleted chats and call records, to establish the sequence of events.
Meanwhile, Siya's lawyer has denied the allegations, maintaining that there is no direct eyewitness or conclusive evidence linking her to the crime. The defence has argued that the prosecution's case is based largely on circumstantial evidence.
The case continues to be investigated by Pune Rural Police, with forensic evidence and witness statements expected to play a key role in the chargesheet.
