Karnataka CM-designate D.K. Shivakumar to be sworn in with 13 Ministers today in Bengaluru

Karnataka chief minister-designate D.K. Shivakumar announced that he will take oath along with thirteen ministers during the swearing-in ceremony scheduled in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The oath-taking event will be administered by Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot at 4:05 pm at the Glass House in Lok Bhavan. Speaking to reporters, Shivakumar confirmed the number of ministers saying “plus thirteen,” without providing further details.
According to sources, senior Congress leader G. Parameshwara is likely to be appointed as the new Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka. Other leaders expected to be inducted into the cabinet include Satish Jarkiholi, K.H. Muniyappa, Priyank Kharge, Krishna Byre Gowda, U.T. Khader, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, M.B. Patil, K.J. George, Ramalinga Reddy, Sharan Prakash Patil, Eshwar Khandre, and Byrathi Suresh.
Most of the ministers expected to take oath, except Khader and Yathindra, had served in the previous Siddaramaiah-led cabinet. Khader currently serves as Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, while Yathindra is the son of outgoing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
