Israeli Jets Hit Presidential and Security establishment in Iran

Israel Defense Forces on Tuesday announced that it had carried out what it described as one of its most consequential strikes yet on Iran’s political and security establishment, targeting a central leadership compound in the heart of Tehran. Israeli officials characterised the site as the “regime’s most central and significant headquarters,” underscoring the strategic weight of the operation.
According to the Israeli military, the overnight operation was executed by the Air Force using “precise intelligence” to identify and dismantle facilities embedded within the heavily guarded compound. Multiple munitions were reportedly deployed against key buildings, including the Presidential Office and the headquarters of the Supreme National Security Council — the body responsible for coordinating Iran’s top security and defence policies.
The statement further indicated that the strike extended beyond administrative offices. Israeli forces claimed to have targeted a gathering site used by senior members of Iran’s highest security forum, where critical national security decisions are believed to be formulated. An institution dedicated to the training of Iranian military officers was also reportedly hit, along with other infrastructure described as vital to the regime’s command and control apparatus.
The scale and symbolism of the strike mark a sharp escalation in the ongoing confrontation between the two adversaries. By aiming at the nerve centre of Iran’s political-security leadership, Israel appears to have sent a direct message regarding its willingness to expand the theatre of operations beyond military installations to strategic governance hubs.
There was no immediate independent confirmation of the extent of the damage. Iranian authorities have yet to provide a detailed public assessment, though regional observers expect heightened tensions and potential retaliatory measures in the coming days
