India–Uzbekistan hold 17th foreign office consultations in New Delhi

The 17th round of India–Uzbekistan Foreign Office Consultations was held in New Delhi during which both sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations.
The meeting was co-chaired by Secretary (West) Sibi George and Bakhromjon Aloev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
According to official sources, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in key areas including trade and investment, tourism, technology, innovation, and energy. Both sides also explored opportunities for deeper collaboration in education, culture, and consular matters.
In addition to bilateral issues, the two delegations exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to continued dialogue and engagement.
The consultations are part of the regular diplomatic mechanism between India and Uzbekistan aimed at enhancing strategic and economic cooperation between the two countries.
