Delhi: 4 feared drowned in Yamuna, 2 bodies recovered

Two bodies were recovered from the Yamuna in east Delhi's Gandhi Nagar, where four people were feared to have drowned, officials said on Tuesday.
The search operation was suspended due to adverse weather conditions and will resume once the weather permits, officials said.
The incident was reported near Madina Masjid on Zero Pusta Road on Monday evening. Police received a call about the incident at 7.20 pm and rushed a team to the spot.
Two fire rescue teams were also deployed and a search operation was launched.
A fire official said two bodies had been recovered so far. The identities of the deceased and the remaining missing persons are yet to be ascertained.
The circumstances leading to the incident are not immediately known. Further investigation is underway.
