Gurugram techie allegedly murders woman colleague, dies by suicide on Railway tracks

A 25-year-old software engineer allegedly murdered his woman colleague at a house in Gurugram before dying by suicide on nearby railway tracks a few hours later, police said.
According to investigators, the accused and the victim had been working together at an IT company in Gurugram's Sector 59 for nearly a year. The woman was found dead with her throat slit inside the house after her family alerted the police when they were unable to contact her.
Police later identified the suspect and launched a search operation. Hours after the murder, his body was found on the railway tracks near Gurugram railway station. Investigators suspect he died by suicide after committing the crime.
Forensic teams examined the crime scene, while the woman's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Police are collecting digital and forensic evidence and questioning acquaintances to establish the sequence of events and the motive behind the incident.
Officials said the investigation is ongoing, and all possible angles, including the nature of the relationship between the two colleagues, are being examined.
