Gangster Rohit Godara's ancestral home demolished in Bikaner, police deny involvement

A house reportedly linked to fugitive gangster Rohit Godara was demolished overnight in Rajasthan's Bikaner district, triggering a police investigation into who was responsible. The property, believed to be Godara's ancestral home in Loonkaransar, was partially brought down using an earthmover while no family members were present. Authorities have said neither the police nor the district administration carried out the demolition.
Police officials said they are examining CCTV footage and collecting other evidence to identify those behind the incident. Residents in the area claimed they did not witness the demolition, with some suggesting that the sound of heavy machinery may have gone unnoticed during the night. No formal complaint has been filed so far.
Rohit Godara, a wanted gangster believed to be operating from abroad after fleeing India in 2022, has been linked to multiple criminal cases and was recently named in an international crackdown on organised crime networks. The mysterious demolition has sparked speculation, but officials have urged people not to draw conclusions until the investigation is complete.
