Family of 4 found dead in Rajasthan's Phalodi, Police suspect Murder-Suicide

A family of 4 was found dead inside their home in Rajasthan's Phalodi district on Tuesday, with police suspecting the case to be a murder-suicide based on the initial investigation.
The incident took place in the Dechu area, where authorities discovered the bodies of a couple and their two children. According to police, the husband was found hanging, while the bodies of his wife and children were lying on a cot inside the house.
Superintendent of Police Satnam Singh said preliminary findings suggest that the husband allegedly strangled his wife and two children before taking his own life by hanging.
The deceased have been identified as Gena Ram (35), his wife Pushpa (32), daughter Khushbu (13) and son Kishan (10).
A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) visited the scene, examined the bodies and collected evidence to aid the investigation.
Dechu Police Station SHO Vikram Singh said the exact reason behind the suspected murder-suicide remains unknown. Police have launched a detailed investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the deaths.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and officials said further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
