CPI(M) misusing State machinery to attack BJP workers: Rajeev Chandrasekhar

BJP Kerala president Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Saturday alleged that the CPI(M) was “misusing” the State machinery to attack the saffron party’s workers and said it was not correct to do so.
Chandrasekhar claimed that the CPI(M) was frustrated over its impending defeat in the Assembly polls and the change in Government after May 4 and therefore, was attacking BJP workers with the help of some police officers.
He made the remarks after visiting the home of a party worker who was allegedly assaulted by police recently.
“I would like to say that what they are doing is not right. While in power, using the State machinery to attack our workers — this is a wrong move on the part of the CPI(M). We will not allow it.
“This has to stop and it will be stopped. We will take legal action against it.
We are the largest party in India and attacks on our workers by anyone will not be accepted by us,” he contended.
He further said that the politics of registering cases against BJP leaders like R Sreelekha will end after May 4. Addressing reporters here in the evening, he said, “There is a democratic system here.
This is India and not Russia or China.
There is no politics of violence here. If CPI(M) cannot understand that, we will make them understand.”
