Conflicts won’t exist if sense of belonging grows: Bhagwat
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday said universal consciousness binds humanity, and if people realise this common connection and shape their behaviour accordingly, then the obstacles and crises won’t exist in the world.
Bhagwat performed puja at the famous Ganesh Tekdi temple in Nagpur, and inaugurated the temple’s sanctum.
Addressing a gathering on the temple’s premises, the Sangh chief said universal consciousness pervades all.
“Lord Ganesh is a source of energy and represents the true meaning of organisation. Everybody is subtly aware of this sense of belonging and feels connected. What is true unity? We all are expressions of the same energy,” Bhagwat said.
If this universal consciousness is understood, the person’s behaviour with himself, others and the world changes, he said.
“In common languages, we identify this feeling as a sense of belonging. If this feeling is consciously strengthened and one shapes his or her behaviour, then obstacles in our world won’t exist.
“All the impediments and crises we see in the world today exist because we have forgotten the sense of belonging. And there is only one real remedy: Our personal, collective, national and international conduct should be based on that sense of belonging. Then obstacles will cease to exist,” Bhagwat added.
