CIPL, Bihar sign MoU for AI centre in Patna

Corporate Infotech Private Limited (CIPL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar to establish a Core Development Centre and an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence in Patna.
The MoU was signed during the India AI Summit in the presence of senior state leaders, including Samrat Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, and Shreyasi Singh, Minister for Information Technology.
Under the agreement, CIPL will initially invest Rs 30 crore in the project, with plans to increase the total investment to 100 crore in the coming years.
The centre will focus on advanced technologies such as AI, SAP, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data centre operations, and enterprise digital platforms. The project is expected to create more than 500 direct jobs in its first year, with plans to expand to over 2,000 IT professionals within five years.
