CEO UPSIDA Dr Balkar Singh Inspects IMC Prayagraj
Dr Balkar Singh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA), on Friday conducted a site inspection of the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC), Prayagraj, Saraswati Hi-Tech City and Naini Industrial Area.
During the visit, he reviewed the progress of various development works and directed officials to ensure their completion within the stipulated timelines while maintaining the prescribed quality standards in all construction activities. On the occasion, the CEO also visited Varun Beverages and Bisleri. Marking the occasion of October 2, a cleanliness drive was launched from Varun Beverages. Special emphasis was laid on maintaining cleanliness and creating a better working environment across industrial units. For Saraswati Hi-Tech City, directions were issued to prepare a comprehensive beautification and development plan.
Discussions were also held on developing the available green spaces as recreational areas, along with exploring the feasibility of developing a world-class golf course and a helipad.
Officials were further directed to ensure the availability of essential basic amenities to all allottees and maintain proper cleanliness across the area.
At the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC), Prayagraj, discussions were held on developing the existing BPCL structures and plots for commercial use.
A plan to develop these plots through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for projects such as luxury hotels and marriage gardens was also discussed. During the inspection of the Naini Industrial Area, the concerned officials were directed to take necessary action, as per applicable rules, regarding vacant plots. Directions were also issued to shift the offices of the Regional Manager and Senior Manager to the newly renovated office building located within the Naini Industrial Area.
The Chief Executive Officer laid particular emphasis on ensuring that all works related to the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC), Prayagraj, are completed within the stipulated timelines while maintaining the required quality standards in construction.
During the inspection, Additional Chief Executive Officer Anita Yadav, PGM Mr Rajeev Tyagi, General Manager PK Kaushik, Senior Manager Patel, Regional Manager Santosh Kumar, and Industrial Area In-charge Manish Lakha, along with other officials and representatives and. of the executing agencies, were present.
