Celebrating legacy of vintage motoring with armed forces

The guardians of automotive legacy — The Heritage Automobile Association of Assam organised a Vintage Car Freedom Drive on 18 January 26 for the Guardians of the Nation — the troops of the Indian Army and their families in Guwahati.The rally was flagged off in Narangi Military station.
The Vintage Automobile cavalcade consists of around 30vintage four wheelers and motorcycles right from 1938 to 1988 consisting of Morris, Volkswagen Beetle, Jeeps that were used during the Second World War ,1952 Land Rover, Ford , Studebaker, Landmaster,BSA & Jawa motorcycles.
Among them were a few automobiles that were used during the Second World War . The event witness huge footfall of families and troops who were elated to experience the display of these vintage automobiles.The Heritage Automobile Association of Assam is proud to promote the event to ensure awareness of the importance of preserving the old legacies.
