Bihar Cabinet Expansion On Thursday; PM Narendra Modi, Amit Shah To Attend Event

Member of the Parliament, Sanjay Saraogi announced that the expansion of the Bihar cabinet led by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary will take place on Thursday in the presence of top BJP leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Saraogi said Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president Nitin Nabin will also attend the event, along with other senior party leaders. The ceremony is expected to draw key figures from the NDA alliance.
Samrat Choudhary took oath as Bihar’s Chief Minister on April 15, becoming the first BJP leader to hold the post in the state. His appointment followed the resignation of Nitish Kumar, who later moved to the Rajya Sabha.
Alongside Choudhary, JD(U) leaders Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav were sworn in as ministers. The upcoming cabinet expansion is expected to further strengthen the government’s administrative structure.
Saraogi added that elaborate arrangements are being made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, which will be his first trip to Bihar after the BJP’s major electoral success in West Bengal.
The event will also be attended by NDA allies, including Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi, signalling unity within the alliance ahead of future political developments in the state.
