Two-Year-Old boy seriously injured after falling from building in Bengaluru

A two-year-old boy was seriously injured after allegedly falling from the second floor of a building in Chikka Adugodi here on Sunday, August 16, police said.

The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Madiwala Police Station and was captured on a CCTV camera, police said.

According to police, the child was playing outside his house on Sunday morning when he allegedly climbed onto a grill, lost his balance and fell from the second-floor level. The boy hit the ground and sustained serious injuries, a police official said.

Passers-by rushed to his aid and took him to a private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment in the ICU, police said, adding that further investigation is underway.
