Athawale thanks PM for Rajya Sabha term

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday for a courtesy meeting.
During the meeting, Athawale expressed heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Prime Minister for nominating him for a third term as a Member of the Rajya Sabha.
He described the nomination as a symbol of Prime Minister Modi’s trust and guidance, and assured that he would continue to fulfill his responsibilities with complete dedication and loyalty.
Athawale reiterated that he would continue to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for social justice, inclusive development and the empowerment of deprived sections of society.
He also raised the issue of increasing scholarships for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) before the Prime Minister, so that youth from these communities can get better opportunities in education and employment.
At the end of the meeting, he stated that in the coming days, he will extensively propagate the ideology of Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar, social harmony, and the core values of the Constitution across the country, and will work towards reaching the welfare schemes of the NDA Government to every citizen.
