Adani Energy, Lenskart, 2 other firms to be added to MSCI Index; 3 companies to move out

Four companies namely Adani Energy Solutions, Billionbrains Garage Ventures, Laurus Labs and Lenskart Solutions will be added to the MSCI India Index, according to the latest index review by MSCI.
Three companies Astral Ltd, Balkrishna Industries and SBI Cards and Payment Services would move out of the index.
The changes in constituents for the MSCI Global Standard Indexes will take place as of the close of August 31, 2026, the global index provider said.
Billionbrains Garage Ventures is the parent company of digital investment platform Groww.
Separately, in the MSCI Global Small Cap index review, 14 companies will be added, while 19 will move out.
The additions are Amagi Media Labs, Astral Ltd, Ather Energy, Balkrishna Industries, Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions, Dalmia Bharat, E2E Networks, Embassy Developments, L&T Technology Services, Rubicon
Research, SEDEMAC Mechatronics, Sky Gold And Diamonds, Urban Company and WeWork India Management.
As many as 19 companies will be removed, including Aurionpro Solutions, CMS Info Systems, ICRA, Mastek Ltd and Star Cement.
