AAP MP Sanjay Singh to submit documents to SIT in Ram Temple Donation probe

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh is set to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to submit documents related to alleged irregularities in donations, offerings, and land transactions linked to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Singh said he was contacted by SIT chief and Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant and asked to appear before the probe panel. The AAP leader claimed he possesses documents connected to the allegations under investigation and will hand them over to the SIT.
The Uttar Pradesh government had constituted the SIT earlier this month to investigate allegations of misappropriation of donations and offerings received at the Ram Temple. The team recently submitted a preliminary report to the state government as part of the ongoing inquiry.
Singh has previously alleged irregularities in the handling of temple donations and land deals, and has sought an independent investigation into the matter. The controversy has triggered political exchanges between opposition parties and the BJP, with demands for greater transparency in the management of temple funds.
The SIT is continuing its investigation, and officials are expected to examine the documents submitted by Singh as part of the probe into the allegations surrounding the temple's finances and administration.
