With the onset of early summers, heat has started increasing in Jharkhand. In the last days of March, the maximum temperature has crossed 40 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the highest maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees was recorded in Daltonganj on Saturday. The lowest minimum temperature of 16.1 degrees was recorded in Khunti. The maximum temperature of Ranchi was 34.8 degrees and the minimum was 20 degrees.
The Meteorological Department said that the maximum temperature has increased in the last 24 hours. Palamu region was the hottest with a four degree rise from the normal.
Meteorological Department scientist Abhishek Anand said that the temperature in Ranchi may increase in the next three days. There will not be much change after that. Western wind is coming, but due to the moisture in the atmosphere, it is cool. Due to this, there is no possibility of a heat wave like situation right now.
The weather department also said that the sky will be clear and the weather will be dry till April 2. On the other hand, there may be partial clouds on April 3. Today, people in East and West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan and Simdega will have to be a little cautious about the heat.
The weather department report is saying that the temperature here can go up to 39 degrees. There is also a possibility of a heat wave in the afternoon.
However, no alert has been issued for this. The weather department has asked the people of these districts to try not to go out of the house between 12 to 3:00 pm. On the other hand, the situation will be normal in other districts. But, there will be strong sunlight in the afternoon.
