On the 162nd birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Chairman cum Managing Director Samiran Dutta, Director (Personnel) Murali Krishna Ramaiya, Director (Finance) Rakesh Kumar Sahay and MLA of Dhanbad Assembly constituency Raj Sinha and other dignitaries garlanded his statue located at Coal Nagar. On this occasion, Swami Ramatattwanand ji from Ramakrishna Vellore was present as the chief guest. Company CMD Samiran Dutta said that Swami Vivekananda is a source of inspiration for all of us. Today's event is an important step in this direction. On the occasion of Youth Day, BCCL is organizing various competitions to enable young talents to showcase their abilities.
At the beginning of the program, first of all, Prabhat Ferry was taken out in Coal Nagar by the school children of various schools. This event was organized by the company as National Youth Day. On this occasion, a total of 6 competitions including multiple choice quiz competition, painting competition, speech competition and quiz competition were organized for 150 children of 15 schools located in Dhanbad.
On the occasion of the inaugural session of the function, the chief guest Swami Ramatattwanand Ji Maharaj while addressing the children said that the life of Swami Vivekananda is very exemplary for the youth. All the children should follow his ideals and his path and contribute to nation building. General Manager (Personnel &, A.S.) Shri Kumar Manoj said that today's competitions will not only test the knowledge and skills of the participants, but will also awaken the spirit of healthy competition in them.
After the completion of all the competitions, a prize distribution session was organized and prizes were distributed to 28 participants. All the participants who participated in the competitions were presented a memento on this occasion. On this occasion, former Director of Sinfer Dr. Amalendu Sinha, Head of BCCL Administration Department Mr. Surendra Bhushan, General Manager of Electrical and Mechanical Department KK Karan, Public Relations Officer Mr. Udayveer Singh, Bikesh Kumar Singh were specially present.
