A meeting of the District Level Peace Committee was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Waghmare Prasad Krishna regarding festivals. In the meeting, representatives from various Sarhul committees gave their views and gave suggestions. In the meeting, on the day of Sarhul, arrangements of drinking water, light arrangements, and smooth traffic related suggestions were given.
On the occasion, the DC said that this festival of nature is an example of discipline. This festival is celebrated in a very disciplined manner in public places. This example should be maintained further. Every effort will be made by the district administration on whatever proposals have come in the meeting. It is also the responsibility of all of you to keep the system in whatever procession will come out. Keep the volunteers ready from your level and give their number to your respective block development officer, zonal officer and in -charge. All the officials will prepare their communication plan so that any contact with anyone can be easily done. There is an appeal to the youth not to drive a vehicle by drinking alcohol. Do not drive a two -wheeler without a helmet.
During its procession, the Sarhul Committee should make arrangements to keep those who join the procession in a realm so that the necessary vehicles can be passed. We have to celebrate this festival in an atmosphere of discipline and happiness. Police Superintendent Haris bin Zaman said that the procession should be taken out in time and should be completed in time so that electricity can be restored in time. According to the scheduled route, the procession should be taken out. Wherever there is a base of drug addicts, the police station in-charge should take action as soon as his information is received. Not only in the festival festivals, but the police station in-charge should conduct regular raids in their police station area and take action. A sufficient number of police forces have been asked for the upcoming festivals including Sirhul and will be deployed. This festival of Sarhul has been celebrated in a very disciplined manner.
