Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey expressed concern about the less number of bank branches in Chanho during her visit to the area. A meeting was held in Punjab National Bank regarding the problems of the people of the area related to the bank. She gave directions to the bank officials regarding the obstacles in the loan waiver scheme of up to Rs 2 lakh being run by the state government for the farmers.

She said that farmers are facing the most problems regarding KYC. Due to lack of KYC, the people of the area are not able to take advantage of the government scheme on time. During this time, Tirkey also discussed with the bank officials on how to increase the number of bank branches. Due to less number of bank branches in Chanho, people coming from rural areas have to wait for hours.

The Minister also distributed blankets among the needy people in Raghunathpur Panchayat of Chanho block. On this occasion, she said that the purpose of providing assistance in this cold season is to discharge its responsibility towards the public. This is a small effort to provide them some relief in this freezing cold. Everyone needs to come together and take initiative to help the needy. Tirkey reached the Koko Aiyo Shakti Puja Sthal in Raghunathpur Panchayat again and bowed down to the feet of the mother.

 She told the people present that I had prayed for success in the last assembly elections at this holy place, and this wish was fulfilled by the grace of Mother Koko Aiyo. This place is not only our cultural heritage, but the wishes of every devotee are fulfilled here. Also, the blessings of the mother give the courage to fight every difficulty.
