Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh has been achieving remarkable milestones in fulfilling Prime Minister Modi’s resolutions. CM Yadav said, the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal has set a record by attracting investment proposals worth Rs 26.61 lakh crore within two days, organized under guidance of Prime Minister Modi. GIS-Bhopal has outperformed several other states attracting record investment proposals.
In the past year, through seven regional conclaves, six road-shows, and interactive sessions, Madhya Pradesh has secured a total of Rs 30.77 lakh crore in investment proposals. These investments are expected to generate over 21.40 lakh employment opportunities for the youth. Madhya Pradesh has become the third state in India to receive the highest investment proposals in a single financial year with these achievements.
During the two-day GIS-Bhopal event, more than 85 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed across various sectors. Encouraged by the success of the regional industrial conclaves, the state government is now strategizing future industrial conclaves focusing on sector-specific and regional industrial specialties.
CM Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has achieved an extraordinary feat under leadership of PM Modi realizing his vision of a self-reliant and developed India. The state has emerged ahead of many others states in attracting investments, with Rs 26.61 lakh crore investment proposals secured in just two days due to the government’s efficient management and strong industrial policies.
With the unprecedented success of GIS-Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh has received a total of Rs 30.77 lakh crore in investment proposals over the past year. This includes contributions from regional industry conclaves, road-shows, and interactive sessions conducted over the year.
Yadav informed that the proposed investments are expected to create over 21.40 lakh jobs in Madhya Pradesh. The state has now become the third-highest in the country in terms of receiving investment proposals in a single financial year.
During GIS-Bhopal, more than 85 MoUs were signed in various sectors, leading to the establishment of new industrial units and fostering sectoral growth. These efforts will strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s industrial foundation and open new employment opportunities for youth. Under CM Yadav’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a preferred destination for investors, making significant contributions to India’s industrial progress.
Several high-ranking diplomats and trade representatives from various countries participated in GIS-Bhopal. These included Rajendra Modi, Deputy Minister, Industry & Commerce, Zimbabwe, Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma, Ambassador, Nepal, Mohammed Raliki, Ambassador, Turkey, Stella N’Kera, Ambassador, Zimbabwe, Dr. Nizair Nifes, Ambassador, Burkina Faso, Yagi Kaji, Consul, Japa, and Walter Ferrara, Consulate, Italy.
These dignitaries praised Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly environment and expressed their willingness to collaborate in the future.
