Ranchi District Administration readying to ensure a peaceful Sarhul and Ram Navami festivals. Along with maintaining law and order, the preparation of other arrangements to be made available by the district administration during the festival is also being monitored continuously by the senior officials of the district.

Ranchi DC Manjunath Bhajantri visited the urban area related to law and order for the upcoming festival and took stock of the preparations on Friday.

During this, Superintendent of Police, City, Rajkumar Mehta, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar Ranchi, Utkarsh Kumar, Superintendent of Police Traffic, Additional District Magistrate Law and Order Ranchi, Rajeshwar Nath Alok, District Nazarat Deputy Collector Dr Sudesh Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Ranchi, Urvashi Pandey and other related officers were present.

Bhajantri took stock of various procession routes of Ranchi city in view of all the preparations for the upcoming festival Sarhul and Ram Navami, and gave many necessary guidelines to the concerned officials while taking stock of Shiv Mandap Puja Committee Gaadi Hotwar, Mahavir Chowk Upper Bazaar, Medical Chowk Temple Ranchi, Tapovan Temple, Sarna Toli Hatma, Sarna Sthal Hatma, Siram Toli Sarna Sthal and other places.

The DC talked to the members of the temple committee regarding the preparations being made at Tapovan Temple, Bhootha Talab Chaiti Durga Puja Committee, Mahavir Temple Upper Bazaar, Medical Chowk Temple Ranchi. Taking information about electricity arrangements, drinking water, CCTV, arrangements for the movement of devotees etc. in the temple, he said that every possible cooperation will be provided to the committee by the district administration. He informed that magistrates and police forces have been deputed in the entire district to maintain law and order.

To take stock of the preparations for the procession route of Sarhul and Ramnavami, Bhajantri went out to inspect the road used for the movement and departure of the procession. He instructed the concerned officer of the company to arrange the equipment used due to the construction work going on around the over bridge. 

Instructions were also given by the DC to fill the pits created due to the construction work and to do barricading. He said that full care should be taken so that the devotees participating in the procession do not face any kind of trouble. He told the company officer to make the way smooth for the arrival and departure of the procession.

Bhajantri said that full care will be taken to ensure that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience during the Sarhul and Ramnavami festival. He has appealed to the people of the district to celebrate the festivals of Sarhul and Ramnavami in a harmonious atmosphere.
