Ranchi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manjunath Bhajantri during an important meeting directed to all the concerned officials were instructed to complete the arrangements like barricading, CCTV, drone camera on time during the festivals.
The Ranchi DC held an important meeting to review the power arrangements and administrative preparations in view of Sarhul festival and Ram Navami on Saturday.
During the meeting, Bhajantri said that electricity, security, cleanliness and other arrangements should be completely in place. In the meeting, he directed that arrangements like road repair, alternative power arrangements by generator, cleanliness should be completed on time in the routes of Sarhul and Ram Navami procession. He specifically asked to ensure that there are no open electric wires anywhere and the power supply should be kept off during the procession, which should be restored only after the approval of the administration.
Medical teams and ambulances will be deployed by the Health Department to deal with any emergency during the procession of Sarhul and Ram Navami. Medical assistance will also be available at major places so that the devotees do not face any kind of problem. On the occasion of Sarhul festival, the main routes of the city will be specially decorated.
Various colourful programmes will be organised to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Jharkhand, which is being prepared to be concluded with grandeur.
Adequate number of police forces will be deployed to maintain law and order during Sarhul and Ram Navami. Also, monitoring will be done through CCTV and drone cameras so that anti-social elements cannot cause any kind of disturbance. Special traffic plan will be implemented on procession routes to keep the traffic system smooth.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all government and private mobile companies to arrange their respective mobile cables so that there is no hindrance during the procession. If the companies do not follow the instructions, the district administration will take necessary action.
