The Parampara Series 2024 at New Delhi’s Kamani Auditorium brought together three evenings of exceptional artistry, celebrating India’s classical dance and music heritage. Each performance honoured the depth and diversity of the country’s cultural traditions, showcasing the seamless blend of history and creativity that continues to inspire across generations.

The series opened with a riveting Kuchipudi presentation by the renowned Raja Radha Reddy Repertory. Their storytelling and precision enthralled the audience, setting an inspiring tone for the evenings to come. This was followed by the soulful Hindustani vocals of Mahesh Kale, whose emotive artistry left a lasting impression.

The second evening shone a spotlight on the SRJAN Ensemble, who brought the intricate elegance of Odissi to life through their refined movements and expressions. Accompanying this visual splendour was the Hindustani flute recital by maestro Rakesh Chaurasia, whose melodies resonated deeply with the audience.

Audiences not only experienced mesmerising performances but also the stories embedded into each art form, reflecting centuries of cultural evolution. Every gesture, note and rhythm carried forward a legacy passed down through generations, offering a meaningful connection to India’s artistic roots.

The final night featured the graceful Mohiniyattam performance by Neena Prasad and her group, followed by an evocative classical music act by Tal Fry, which brought the event to a memorable close.

The event witnessed attendance from notable personalities such as Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, among others, underlining its cultural significance.

The 28th edition of the Parampara Series was a celebration of India’s cultural heritage. As the performances concluded  they left behind a deep sense of connection to tradition and artistry. Such events keep India’s rich legacy alive, inspiring people across generations.
