Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena on Friday urged the students of Dr. BR Ambedkar University (AUD) on Wednesday to strive towards inclusivity, innovation, and impactful intervention in society during the 13th convocation ceremony.
In a tweet on X, Saxena shared, “Presided over the 13th Convocation of Dr. BR Ambedkar University in the presence of former CJI, Justice (Retd) Dipak Misra.” He congratulated the young minds on completing their degrees and urged them to strive towards inclusivity, innovation, and impactful intervention in society.
Delhi LG urged the Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) to foster among the students and maintain the quality of education and research. He also emphasised on setting ‘gold standards’ for the institution. “It was heartening to note that the number of students in AUD has nearly doubled in the last five years. Exhorted the management and the faculty to foster equality among students and maintain the quality of education and research while expanding the access to education and set “Gold Standards” for our institutions of higher learning,” he said in a tweet.
Further, he congratulated the Vice Chancellor, the faculty members, and the parents of graduating students for their relentless efforts and sacrifices in shaping the future of these bright young students.
