In Bairagarh, a pet lover was thrashed by four residents after a dispute over beating of the dogs, the issue went out of proportion to the level where the residents attacked the pet lover in which she sustained 6 stitches on her head.
Pet lover Geeta Thanwani, who lives near Thaddaaram Community Hall in Bairagarh, had a dispute with Tillu Tilwani and his son Amit Tilwani, Chandraprakash Belani and his son Bharat who live in the neighborhood.
The matter escalated so much that Chandraprakash and Bharat attacked Geeta with a wiper. Geeta's sister Hema, mother and daughter intervened to save her but failed and before they could rescue her Geeta sustained injuries in her head.
She was taken to hospital where she was provided with first aid and as her injuries were grave she got six stitches on her head, while Hema suffered wound on her hand.
The police have registered a case against the accused on Geeta's complaint. Hema said that on Monday afternoon at around 1 o'clock, she heard the sound of dogs screaming. When she looked outside, Tillu and Amit were beating the dogs . When Geeta stopped them, Chandraprakash and Bharat also started saying " beat the dogs and we will beat the one who stops them from doing this".
After which they attacked Geeta. Geeta alleged that the police were lenient in registering the case and used sections to fade away the intensity of the offence. Chandraprakash and Bharat are threatening that they will burn your family by pouring petrol on them and will close the case by calling it a suicide.
