A 28 year old doctor doing one year internship at the Medinirai medical college in Daltonganj, Abhishek Chanchal died in a road accident last night near the Redma Chowk.
Dr Chanchal hailed from Garhwa town. He had completed his MBBS courses / studies in China.
He was here in the Medinirai medical college completing his 1 year mandatory internship.
Dr Nikhil Nishant, a senior faculty of the department of community medicines here in this medical college said we held a condolence meeting cum two minute silence today in memoriam of him and as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Dr Nikhil Nishant said the young doctor Chanchal had two weeks left to complete his 1 year internship but before that this deadly accident took away his life.
A medical student of the Medinirai medical college had last year a near brush with death in a road collision who remained in bed for long.
Dr Nikhil Nishant said "We always keep telling our students not to do triple riding on a bike but they love not to pay any attention to our sane advice so given to them in the larger interest of their own lives."
The sad and tragic demise of a good doctor Chanchal in the road accident has sent shock waves here in Daltonganj and Garhwa.
