District Election Officer  Ananya Mittal conducted an extensive inspection of the postal ballot polling station located at the Women's University, Sidgora. The postal ballot voting facility has been set up in the designated girls' hostel of the university, with preparations in full swing for the upcoming election, which begins on November 3.

 Mittal reviewed the arrangements for different categories of voters, polling personnel, police forces, home guards, and other compulsory services that will be casting their votes via postal ballots. Separate polling booths, organized according to assembly constituencies and as per the Election Commission's directives, have been set up to ensure smooth and secure voting. The Officer also provided necessary instructions for further improvement of the arrangements.

Key Details of Postal Ballot Voting: Voting Period: Postal ballot voting will be held from November 3 onwards, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.  First Phase Voting: From November 3-11, voters of the first phase constituencies will cast their votes. Second Phase Voting: From November 16-18, second phase constituencies will follow suit.

The polling personnel, categorized by their assembly constituencies, will cast their votes in the girls' hostel rooms as follows: Room 101: Baharagora (Polling Personnel), Room 102: Ghatshila (Polling Personnel), Room 103: Potka (Polling Personnel), Room 104: Jugsalai (Polling Personnel), Room 105: Jamshedpur East (Polling Personnel), Room 106: Jamshedpur West (Polling Personnel), Room 107: Other Categories (Voters of all six constituencies), Pantry Hall: Police Force and Home Guards and Room 108: Compulsory Service voters

Additionally, voters serving on election duty in assembly constituencies outside Purbi Singhbhum district will vote from November 3-11 for the first phase and from November 16-18 for the second phase.
