Committee Chairman and Zilla Parishad member expressed displeasure on the absence of Women and Child Development Department's Program Officer at the meeting of  WCD and Child Development Standing Committee in Bhopal District Panchayat on Friday.

District Officer of the department Sunil Solanki failed to attend the meeting,  Committee Chairman and Zilla Parishad member Chandresh Rajput and other members got angry on his absence as Solanki has not been attending the meeting for two years.

They also talked about meeting the Collector and CEO for action against Solanki for the irresponsible and negligent behaviour.

Committee Secretary CMHO Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari presented the agenda in the meeting.

Meanwhile, all participants got angry over the absence of the Women and Child Development Department's Program Officer Solanki. Members have also said that strict action should be taken against him.

Chairman Rajput said, the condition of Anganwadis in rural areas is not good. Along with cleaning, painting and repair work has also not been done in the buildings. The supervisor present in the meeting was told that the buildings should be painted soon.

Chairman Rajput said that if negligence is found at any Anganwadi Centre during my visit, I will take strict action against the officers from top to bottom. The works of the PHE department were also reviewed in the meeting.

Zilla Parishad Vice President Mohan Singh Jat, member Rashmi Bhargava, representative Anil Hada, Mishrilal Malviya, District Health Officer Manoj Hurmani Bairasia were also present.
