Vishwa Rang 2024 was inaugurated with a colourful ceremony under the leadership of Vishwa Rang's visionary Santosh Chaubey and Madhuri Ramdhari, General Secretary of World Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius.
On this golden historical occasion, Her Excellency High Commissioner of India Nandani K Singla, Mauritius, former President of Indian Council of Cultural Relations, Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, senior poet-storyteller, Director of Vishwa Rang, Santosh Chaubey, General Secretary of Vishwa Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius, Madhuri Ramdhari, Deputy General Secretary Shubhankar Mishra and Pro-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director of International Hindi Center Jawahar Karnavat were specially present.
The inaugural ceremony was conducted memorably by Vinay Upadhyay, Director, Tagore Vishwa Kala and Sanskriti Kendra (India).On the occasion of the historic launch of Vishwa Rang 2024, Mauritius, Chief Guest Honorable Deputy Prime Minister Liladevi Dukan ji said that it is a matter of great pride that the Indian culture-global platform 'Vishwa Rang' Tagore International Literature and Arts Festival coming from Bhopal (India) to Mauritius is a very big historical event in itself. The whole of Mauritius is very proud of this.
The language and culture of any country is like a protective shield. It is very important to keep the language and culture safe to build existence and identity. This shield should also be strengthened from time to time. He told that to promote Hindi, we are studying Hindi from school level to university level in Mauritius. Along with this, PhD is also being done in Hindi language. Hindi professors are also given an announcement to learn Hindi. Hindi has that power that along with knowledge, it builds emotions, morality, duty, responsibility, coordination and personality. He expressed happiness that artists and litterateurs are being provided a platform through Vishwa Rang. It is with such inspiration that new plants become huge trees. He wished that Hindi immortalizes the name of Indian art and culture all over the world. On this occasion, the visionary of Vishwa Rang, Santosh Chaubey said that I am very proud to say that Hindi is known as the third language of the world.
He said that we have been continuously working for the preservation, promotion and propagation of Hindi for the last 40 years. Santosh Chaubey said that the power to change a human being lies in art, culture, literature and language. He said that Rabindranath Tagore, besides being a good writer, was also a painter, poet, litterateur and connoisseur of music. Therefore, the statue of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore is also being installed here. On this occasion, he also recited Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore's poem 'Antar Mera Vikas Karo.....!'.
He said that the concept of Vishwa Rang is that Hindi has the possibility of development. We all should work with determination in this direction. At the same time, technology should be used to develop Hindi. He also said that there is the essence of life in dialects and languages, therefore we should not forget dialects and languages. Santosh Chaubey said that Vishwa Rang is in front of all of you with regard to the cultural prosperity of India.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Madhuri Ramdhari, General Secretary of Vishwa Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius said that it must have been a very auspicious moment when the idea of ??Vishwa Rang came to the mind of Santosh Chaubey, Director of Vishwa Rang. She said that Vishwa Rang has created a new history with Hindi.
The journey of Hindi that started from Bhopal has today reached Mauritius, a country across the ocean, and this work can only be done by Santosh Chaubey, who has a very big heart. On this occasion, she expressed her gratitude to the Vishwa Rang family and the representatives from various countries of the world including India, on behalf of the Vishwa Hindi Secretariat.
